The most famous Japanese SUV receives what must be its last nips and tucks before the next generation arrives. Bumpers and front grille were tweaked, and daytime LEDs, more chrome inserts and an optional rear black strip appeared, the latter only for the five-door. Inside, soundproofing was improved, the dashboard received some black-piano sections, and the seats got redesigned upholstery. Everything else stayed unchanged, including the turbo-diesel 3.2L and the gasoline 3.0L engines. This vehicle is already on sale at the Japanese market.
