When in China, stretch as the Chinese stretch. After Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, now it is Cadillac’s entry-level sedan who gets a long-wheelbase variation, so as to satisfy a local preference. The additional 85 mm increases both head and legroom for the back occupants and is almost unnoticeable from the outside. Everything else remains unchanged, including a feature list with ATS’s recently updated design, Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride suspension, run-flat tires, the turbocharged SIDI 2.0L engine and even the 50/50 weight distribution.

Cadillac’s entry-level sedan was slightly retouched to look like its recently-released coupé version. The front grille adopted the new company logo and became independent of the lower portion, which is now wide enough to connect both fog lights. Other updates are new internal trims, wireless phone charger, the use of Apple Siri Eyes Free and the Teen Driver function, which enables the owner to restrict speed and audio settings. Everything else, including all the powertrain options and the whole aforementioned coupé, remained unchanged.
