When Go and Go+ were released, everyone started to expect that Datsun would follow the market “traditions” and create an entire family based on the same project. However, as it turns out, Nissan’s reborn division is sticking to its plan of having one vehicle specially planned for each of the biggest emergent markets. After India and Indonesia, the automaker now appears in Russia, but with a vehicle with no relations at all with any of those. on-DO wants to be another proof of how there are times when global cars simply aren’t the right answer.
