If you’re used to read news articles about the automotive world, you’ve certainly seen several cases of companies trying to prosper in the market by investing in new categories. Four-door coupés, the revival of shooting brakes… not to mention the whole crossover movement. However, one of the reasons why this industry is fascinating is the fact that there’s no absolute solution for anything. Sometimes, the best way to conquer the market turns out to be entering it through the front door. After this year’s Frankfurt Auto Show, which was held in September, it became clear that the latter is Suzuki’s newest intention.
Jaguar F-Type 2016
Como maior destaque para seu famoso esportivo, a Jaguar lança no Brasil sua versão com tração integral. Ela vem apenas para o cupê, e na versão topo-de-linha R. Custando R$ 687.700, ela apresenta o motor 5.0 V8 com compressor, cujos 550 cavalos de potência o levam de 0 a 100 km/h em 4,1 e à máxima de 300 km/h. Além disso, todas as variações ganharam de série a direção elétrica EPAS. O F-Type cupê também é vendido na versão de entrada por R$ 427 mil com um motor 3.0 V6 de 340 cv, e na S por R$ 498.400 com o mesmo motor gerando 380 cv. Esta última é a única do conversível, por R$ 509 mil.
Honda CR-Z 2016
After a speculation process that ended in some pictures appearing ahead of time, Honda finally made it official: the hybrid coupé had a facelift. Both bumpers became more imponent, thanks to the bigger air vents, while both sets of lights received more LEDs. You’ll also get bigger spoilers. Inside, there are electric parking brake, a new infotainment system with more functions and a touchscreen, a system that enhances the engine sound according to the acceleration, better brakes, and improved sound deadening. The powertrain remained a 1.5-liter gasoline-burner combined to an electric motor, good for 123 hp.
