Buick

Buick LaCrosseLaCrosse: The front grille is the first sign of what has changed on this sedan. Both bumpers were redesigned and the lights received LEDs for daytime and brake lights, these connected by a chrome bar. There are new wheels and a redesigned cabin, which features new IntelliLink system and central console, improved seats and coating and the available Ultra Luxury Interior, to add leather coating and wood and suede details. The safety was boosted by cutting-edge electronic programs. It’s possible to equip it with a 2.4L or a V6 3.6L, with automatic six-speed gearbox and available all-wheel-drive.

2014 Buick Regal GSRegal: Buick’s sporty sedan received a similar package of updates for 2013, featuring bigger front grille, LED lights, restyled bumpers, new wheels and an 8” touchscreen for the IntelliLink infotainment system. It’s interesting to notice that the high-performance version, GS, was slowed down: the new turbocharged 2.0L reaches 260 hp, about 10 hp weaker than the predecessor – the urban versions use the 182-hp 2.4L seen at the bigger brother. Nevertheless, there’s a standard automatic six-speed transmission, with an available manual gearbox for GS. The first ones can also bring all-wheel-drive.

Chevrolet Camaro SSCamaro: Chevrolet’s iconic pony car was facelifted for 2014. This is the kind of car with such complex design it would be impossible to perform deep partial changes without achieving very bad results. That’s why the headlights became sleeker and paired to bigger grilles below them and a chrome line above. The rear received very attractive single-element LED lights, which proudly bring the memory of Camaro’s first generations. However, this car’s biggest features for the new phase are the sporty versions: the first one to be revealed makes the text right below this one.

Chevrolet Camaro Z/28Camaro Z/28: Yes, this version is back. And no, it wasn’t infected with the downsizing trend. What the new Z/28 can brag about is performance, which counts on ceramic brakes, exclusive internal rear structure and even dropping coating parts and the climate control, in order to reduce the weight and improve the V8’s performance: GM hasn’t revealed how many horses this 7.0L delivers – this one will only use a manual six-speed gearbox. However, the pictures can delight you with the exclusive items, which spice up the new Camaro’s design with darker wheels, gray and red details and sporty seats.

Dodge

Dodge Durango R/TDurango: The intention here was to keep Durango as far as possible from Chrysler’s several other SUVs and crossovers. So how would be better to do it than by highlighting the car’s original focus? New front grille, more stylish headlights, new wheels and the Dart-inspired tail lights (with 192 LEDs!) wrap an interior which was improved with an improved Uconnect, 8.4” touchscreen, Blu-ray player, two 9” screens for the back seat and wi-fi connection. There are more safety programs and a new eight-speed transmission, which makes the V8 5.7L 5% more efficient. This car will have five trims.

The new Odyssey gives you back your smile by bringing a built-in vacuum cleaner.

Hyundai

Hyundai EquusEquus: The Koreans really want to prove they can be as convincent as Cadillac or Mercedes-Benz among the wealthier customers around the world. Equus’ biggest external update for 2014 was redesigned tail lights, besides LED lights and new rearview mirrors and front grille. The interior added lots of safety items, such as nine airbags and multi-camera parking assistance, but the most noticeable update is the better coating, which features more ergonomic steering wheel and two 9,2” touchscreens to the rear seat. This car uses a V8 5.0L with 430 hp and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Scion

Scion tCtC: The ten-year-old brand’s coupe received a very interesting facelift for 2014. The new front design was obtained with very aggressive headlights and front grille, paired to bigger hood and new 18” wheels – tC’s overall look reminds of the latest Lexus IS’ visual boldness, not to mention the black “A” pillars with panoramic sunroof reminds what was seen on Corvette C7. Scion tC’s engine has been a four-cylinder 2.5L since the previous phase, which produces 179 hp and uses a manual six-speed transmission or the available automatic gearbox. Toyota also states that there’s a new suspension tune.
