Renault’s strategy with its Korean division is very similar to GM’s with its multiple marques: both are able to develop entire cars for the global lineup, which makes it very interesting due to the differences between each one’s country. While QM5 turned into Koleos, its younger brother QM3 was born as Captur. The latter two have pretty much everything in common, but in South Korea it’ll only uses a turbocharged dCi 1.5L engine, with 90 hp.
