The Korean compact hatchback has received a small facelift for 2015. The front fascia was updated with retouched bumper and grilles, along with new fog lights and the addition of extra air intakes. The rear, in turn, features bigger area for the license plate and black inserts. Opening the doors will reveal a new dashboard, with more chrome inserts and new materials. There are also DAB radio and Kia’s AVN system with GPS, all operated by a 7” touchscreen. Rio’s engines are a 75-hp 1.4L and a 109-hp 1.6L, with the options of automatic transmission and start/stop system.
