The Korean compact line enters 2014 with a series of minor updates, in order to make better resistance against Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta and Nissan Versa. The exterior received new headlights with daytime LEDs, while the cabin was boosted with triple-flash turn signals, sliding sun visors, new audio system with better ergonomics and voice recognition and tilt/telescope steering wheel, depending on the trim level. The powertrain, in turn, was kept unchanged: Accent uses a four-cylinder 1.6L engine with 138 hp and 123 lb-ft.
