Mazda BT-50 2016

Click to view in high resolutionAfter the facelift Ford gave Ranger a few months ago, it’s time for its Japanese sibling to do the same. The rear fascia, according to unofficial information, features darker lights as well. Inside, Mazda claims to have improved the overall quality, and added backup camera and the MZD infotainment system. Mazda2 Sedan

Click to view in high resolutionDuring the 1990s, the car market saw the boom of a tendency that could be called “car family”. The strategy of deriving multipe models from the same project is actually older, but at this time it reached a whole new level. Most companies created a full range of bodies in several sizes, and the truth is it did save a lot of money on product development. But they soon noticed that the global demand wasn’t as elastic as they thought, so the losses ended appearing anyway. This is why they have returned to the old behavior in the past few years, creating cases such as what you’re about to – continue to – know.

Mazda6 2015

Click to view in high resolutionMazda’s current lineup has become a set of arguments to prove that it is possible, indeed, to create truly good cars. Its vehicles combine modern technologies, comfortable cabin, safe construction and efficient powertrain, everything without costing more than each one’s direct competitors. And while finding them beautiful or not is very subjective, it’s undeniable that the company’s design language is incredibly well-developed. One of the first vehicles to enjoy Mazda’s current moment, Mazda6, gets prepared for the new year with some improvements to what was already a fascinating product.

Mazda CX-5 2015

Click to view in high resolutionMazda’s midsize crossover is one of those cars that any other automaker would like to have in its portfolio. Similar examples, although more intense, are BMW 3-Series, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque and Volkswagen Golf. Not only are their sales figures high, as they are stable just as much. In other words, the company which ever manages to have four or five of these would easily live happily ever after. This is why the Japanese decided to perform just a small set of improvements on CX-5 for 2015, rather than investing in expressive changes. Looks like few news can also be good news.

Mazda CX-3

Click to view in high resolutionOver the past few years, people’s reactions to the release of an all-new crossover have gone from huge curiosity to generic excitement, and more recently to a simple yawn. Besides they have become just too many, car fans dislike the fact that their money-maker nature usually supersedes the maker’s signature values, like performance, refinement or resistance. The brand new compact you’re about to meet does intend to fill Mazda’s coffers, but with more than just being an oversized hatchback: the Japanese company claims to have created it with the same Jinba Ittai philosophy used with MX-5.

Mazda MX-5 4

Click to view in high resolutionMost automakers try to create vehicles with personality. This is the attempt of imbuing a set of characteristics by which the car will hopefully stand out in the crowd today and be remembered tomorrow; not only beautiful design, powerful engines or luxurious cabin, for example, but combinations of them. On the other hand, given that prospering this way is extremely hard, other companies have been relying on the design-language approach, which is extended to the entire lineup. But what about a car who uses these at the same time and makes the best of both?

Mazda2 3

Mazda2 is also known as DemioUntil around ten years ago, talking about compact cars would lead to think of black plastic bumpers, steel wheels and no more equipments than those required by the transit laws. This situation only came to a change when some automakers decided to offer a little more: people started to buy their car, the rivals started to improve theirs, and when some made another important progress the whole process would be repeated. Today, compacts such as the latest Mazda are those which make us stop and think how fast can a certain product type evolve.
