Expected to hit the streets in early 2015, the coupé uses a whole new 6.2L V8, whose performance figures were announced as “more than” 625 cv and 87.8 kgfm. It’ll be possible to choose between six-speed manual or a new eight-speed automatic transmission. Besides, there are 19” and 20” aluminum wheels (front and rear), removable carbon-fiber top and an optional aerodynamic package with some parts made of carbon fiber.

It’ll cost US$ 295 and will be available to Dart’s SXT version equipped with the Rallye Appearance Group kit. The black accents include 18” wheels, central console, front grille, tail lights, and headrests and seats (the latter with red stitching), although ironically not the roof. This sedan will use the 184-hp Tigershark 2.4L engine and is expected to hit the streets this semester.

Honda Fit 3Fit (US-spec): After receiving its new generation in Japan, Honda’s MPV reaches North America in a special version, which will be produced in Mexico. There have been slight changes from the original Fit, such as design tweaks, but more important is what it brings under the hood: the new hybrid version uses a direct-injected 1.5L four-cylinder, good for 130 cv. It can use six-speed manual or CVT transmission, and is expected to have class-leading mileage. Honda also intends to achieve high grades on both IIHS and NHTSA tests.

Infiniti

Q50 honors F-1’s spirit by reminding the Spa-Francorchamps circuit’s famous (and dangerous) curve. The concept-car uses an exclusive aerodynamic kit in black, internal accents in carbon fiber, 21” wheels and chrome front grille. If the sedan ever reaches production lines, Infiniti already announced it would use a V8 engine with more than 500 cv and made of carbon fiber.

The gorgeous coupé received a sporty version, whose 5.0L V8 achieves “more than” 450 cv and 52.8 kgfm, taking it from 0 to 100 kph in 4s6 and to 270 kph. However, another interesting feature is that it switches into Atkinson and Otto cycles, according to the need of fuel saving or performance. There are also exclusive aerodynamic kit, 19” wheels and an available package of external items made of carbon fiber.

Click to view an internal imageS600: Why would a car like S-Class stop into only one upscale trim? If your definition of luxury vehicles doesn’t necessarily mean sporty, Mercedes now offers a limousine-style version. It comes only with the long wheelbase and brings the entire arsenal of technology equipments for which this generation is already known. But if you’re thinking it left everything regarding “performance” to the AMG brothers, the 6.0L V12 will prove you wrong. 530 cv and 84.6 kgfm make plenty of power, but the car still manages to make 9 kpl in the city.

RAM

RAM returned to work with the camouflage maker, creating this version based on 1500 Outdoorsman – always with AWD and Crew Cab, with 5.7 and 6.4-feet beds and starting at US$ 41,180. There are three colors for the exterior (black and two tones of pearl), two for the cabin (beige and brown) plus a leather option (brown) and the exclusive camo pattern in some parts of both. This edition is expected to hit the streets in a few weeks.

The most powerful Impreza ever produced will hit the streets next April, including a Launch Edition of 1,000 units only in blue with golden BBS wheels. STI differentiates itself from the regular WRX for an exclusive aerodynamic kit, 18” wheels and, of course, the powertrain: there’s a turbocharged, four-cylinder 2.5L boxer engine, capable of 305 cv and 40.1 kgfm. It also brings AWD, six-speed manual transmission and a driver-operated differential.

This Passat is the first car to use cylinder deactivation in a four-cylinder engine, rather than V8s or V12s – it uses the new Golf’s 1.4L turbocharged unit. The concept-car uses start/stop and Jetta Hybrid’s transmission decoupling technologies in order to reach 18 kpl in the highway, but it’s still able to generate 150 cv when the driver needs complete power.
